John McLean

Comes to Crossroads Music with a 3 year Composition Major from UBC and 2 years Composition Major from Capilano University.  John has had two compositions selected for performance by the UBC Contemporary Players.  He has 24 years of guitar instruction experience and over 10 years of performance experience.

Billy Mendoza

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii Bass Player/ Vocalist Billy Mendoza arrived in Vancouver 26 years ago. Has recorded and toured Canada with Country Acts Suzanne Gitzi and Lynn Taylor Donovan, also recording Artist Phil Kuys, which led to a performance at the legendary Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville.

Toured wth Blues Man Long John Baldry, and recorded with Folk artist Harry Manx. Toured Europe with Michael Booth Palmer and Blues-Rock Stylist Dave Goodman. Fronted recording act Personal Funk Device, currently fronts a 10 piece Steely Dan Tribute act Steelin In The Years.

Ed Mohoric

Ed is a prolific composer of original music and has taught guitar for many years in the Vancouver area. His recording, “Guitar Talk,” received extensive national air play on CBC’s Disc Drive program. Ed has performed with Keith Bennett and appears on his CD Tin Sandwich. “Keith Bennett and Ed Mohoric have forged a unique new voice for Chromatic Harmonica and Jazz Guitar. Their main focus has been on the performance of original material ranging from blues to sophisticated jazz forms”. Ed’s experience and background is well appreciated by his guitar students.
